JBoats Southwest sold this boat new in 1993 and has been involved throughout each ownership transition. This J/92 has always been sailed in fresh water and hoist kept. It is very clean, nice and shows that it has been well taken care of.
Nice sail inventory:
3 Mains: 1 Ullman dacron 2 years old/light use-, 1 Doyle Kevlar 6 years old-still fast!), I Neil Pryde-13 years old.
2 150 % jibs: One Doyle Kevlar-6 years old, patched but still serviceable for club racing, one 150% Mylar-13 years old-have not had it up.
2 year old Mariner jib with sunbrella on the foot and leach allowing this jib to be left on the forestay. You can be sailing under main and jib in less then a minute.
One spinnaker. Works well. Probably a 77 square meter. Not sure, and it is not marked.
Great running rigging, Garmin GPS (with knot, depth, and compass), Lake safety gear, porta potty.
This owner has kept the boat on a hoist for the last 15 years.
There has been a renewed interest in the J/92. These are versatile boats for day sailing, light cruising, and they perform very well in light air. Don't miss out on this well cared for boat.
Yes the boat just sold. What you do is valuable and I did get some traffic from your site. I will plan to use it some more in the future.
