When I bought this boat I couldn't wait for good weather. I hitched it up and drove it from Annapolis to Tampa to sail in the gulf of mexico for a week. I don't have a big truck or huge engine in my KIA SORENTO. No problems at all! I have made many weekend trips up and down the chesapeake. This boat has the 25hp engine for improved sailing performance and lower weight however can accept up to a 70hp. I have been on one of these boats at 26mph fully loaded with water ballast in. Quick enough to pull a water skier! So why am i selling it? I have decided that it was time for a far bigger boat. I know I'll regret selling this one since its not easy to just up and go with the Macgregor as I will need to rely on the marina staff to put me in and out of the water with a bigger sailboat.
I would love to tell you more about it. Feel free to call me at any time (even if at midnight) at 443-417-6425.
I would be happy to take you out sailing even if you are not sure about buying it (i always need an excuse to be out on the water)!
I understand these are in high demand overseas especially in Australia so if you are looking at this I know it can be shipped in a container however I have no idea where to start so bear with me if interested.
Asking $24,995 but willing to negotiate. Currently at maryland marina fully rigged. it would take me 10 minutes to rig up or make trailerable. Stop by and take a look! You will not regret it! Thanks for looking!
I just sold it this week. Thank you.
