Purchased as a long-term restoration project but work schedule changed and the necessary free time has run out.
Currently located on dry land about 18 miles east of College Station, just off SH30 (about 120 miles from Kemah).
Engine (Volvo MD-17C) currently out of boat and was last run about 5 years ago. Engine compartment has been stripped clean, repaired and repainted (time for re-power?).
Almost all wiring & plumbing has been removed.
Teak deck has been stripped off due to excessive teak wear. Deck is sound (holes plugged with epoxy).
Bowsprit has been reworked and repainted. Mast and boom need overhaul and re-paint.
All bronze seacocks have been removed and serviced.
Teak interior is in fairly good condition (there is a lot of teak).
If you are looking for a heavyweight (22,000lbs) project boat, designed for the open seas, then this is it.
It will likely cost the buyer $3,000 (more or less) to pick the boat up and transport it to the Galveston Bay area.
It is currently USCG documented.
I will consider serious offers in the region of $12,000 (serious buyers only please).
Photographs were taken 9 years ago when I initially purchased it (it is currently under cover at my residence).
