My name is Mike McCann, an active sailor in the Galveston Bay area and frequent visitor along the Texas Gulf Coast. Walking the docks listening to fellow boaters at marinas we visit, conversation about the particular marina we're in quickly becomes a favorite topic.
In an attempt to help marina owners/management better understand the needs and wants of their slip tenant constituency, I'm conducting a survey with just three questions. As a fellow boater, I need your help. If you keep your boat at a marina (anywhere in the 48 states), your response to these three questions will provide valuable feedback that I will then be providing Sailing Texas participants here in September. This is your chance to communicate your needs and wants to the marina office in an impartial survey.
What can marina owners and managers do better?
What do marina owners and managers do to irritate tenants the most?
What would tenants like to see at every marina?
Thank you for helping fellow boaters who want to create the best possible marina experience possible. "Top three" results in each of the three points will be on the Sailing Texas website in September.
If you want in-depth survey results with all comments and points available via email mid-October,
