This 1976 San Juan 24 is a 24' keelboat designed as a class beating racing boat by the Clark Boating Company. It is known for its high performance in low winds. It is very fun to captain, especially in winds up to 20 knots. Historically, it has performed quite well, winning many races, including winning several awards.
The overall length is 24', and has a beam of 8'. The maximum draft, including the centerboard, is 4'. The San Juan has an overall displacement of 3200 lbs. It is designed for a variety of riggings, and can include a jib, genoa, and spinnaker sail. It has a 28' 11" mast.
The cabin has a 5'4" cabintop and sleeps 4. There is a dinette table that converts into a bench, and a small drainable sink. There is also a small porta potty in the bow.
This boat includes:
Main sail, genoa sail, spinnaker sail, spinnaker pole (all in good condition)
Small attachable grill
4 life preservers
All rigging and spare rope
Attachable side ladder
Required fire extinguisher and air horn
5 HP Nissan Outboard motor with gas can
CD Player/Radio with Auxiliary input
NO TRAILER INCLUDED
The motor mount was recently replaced due to wood rot, and the motor has a new gas tank and impeller.
The boat has never been in saltwater, always fresh. The hull was repainted 7 years ago when it was placed in the water, with a recommended repainting every 10 years.
The battery needs replacing, but other than that and some basic dirt on the outside, itís in good shape. I am selling because I do not have the time to use it as much as I would like. It is located directly on Center Hill lake, at Hurricane Marina, Tennessee.
