Seawind 24 Catamaran, 1988

I am the 3rd owner of this 88 Seawind 24 Catamaran.

  • This trailerable Australian design cruising Catamaran was built in Florida and can sleep 4.
  • Perfect for day sailing or overnight camping.
  • It is ocean worthy, stable (16' beam), fast and fun to sail.
  • With large tramp forward and fiberglass aft decks you can sail comfortably with 2 to 10 people.
  • Excellent condition inside and out.
  • In its 24 year lifetime it has only been sailed in 11 northern freshwater sailing seasons and 13 months in saltwater by the second owner.
  • It has been in inside storage in Indiana the other 12 years.
  • It was last sailed in '09 in Lake Michigan. No corrosion anywhere.

  • Interior is lined with fabric above the gunwale. Teak trimmed interior. Hard fiberglass decks aft (repainted in '97). Low hours 1998 Merc 9.9 HP w/ sailprop and long shaft w/ electric start and engine controls from port side captain's chair. Swim ladder. Sink/water unit. Porta Potti. Origo 1500 single burner alchohol stove. SeaRanger SRX handheld VHF/FM Radiotelephone. Sink/water unit. Custom designed starboard deck tent.
