OVERVIEW
She was built in 2004 and has been sailed exclusively in freshwater (Lake Michigan) since new and stored indoors during the winter months. Designed by Farr Yacht's, she is hull 132 of 250 built. Farr took what was working from the 40.7 and applied it to the 36.7 - the result is a fast, comfortable boat.
Current owner is an experienced sailor with over 25 years sailing experience (US sailing instructor, and US Coast Guard certified captain). The pride of ownership is obvious from the minute you set eyes on her. This boat has a great sail inventory, top of the line electronics and is truly TURN KEY for the racer or cruiser who wants to sail fast!
Great performance record when raced with a crew in the competitive 36.7 fleet as well as some great performance being solo sailed (3rd place in the 2012 solo Chicago - Mackinaw race, and 1st place in the 2012 Lake Michigan solo scrambler).
Boat is great on any point of sail and is a pleasure for both the skipper and crew above deck. Below deck has many of the creature comforts found in a much larger boat (sleeps 7). She's comfortable for a day around the beer cans, or a long distance race / cruise. Check out how clean the bilge and engine room are to see just how well this boat has been maintained
Volvo Sail Drive 30hp (less than 750hrs). Two-blade folding propeller. Single lever engine controls.
