Hobie 16' Catamaran, 1980, San Antonio, Texas
This Hobie 16' cat is ready to sail now.
Prior owner was my brother-in-law who sailed it a lot, and said it's in good shape.
I'm selling it "as is" because I've never sailed it.
All parts of the SAILBOAT that I've checked look good:
Main and jib sails solid with no tears (some battens missing).
Sails have stripes of yellow, red, orange, and brown, with black numbers.
Yellow hulls seem sturdy with no leaks (have a few small soft spots on top).
Orange tramp (faded) with tight lacing, and righting line.
Black mast and boom straight (small plastic pulley on mast is broken).
Rudders and tiller good in up-and-down positions.
2 trapeze sets (broken handle on one).
Lines, blocks, and metal rigging good.
Extra rigging parts included.
TRAILER in good shape:
New lights and wiring.
Good tires with new wheel bearings.
Swing-down wheel on tongue.
"Cat Hauler" manufacture sticker.
