This beloved Compac 16 is a true joy to sail and an ideal trailerable pocket cruiser. The design is rugged, stable, and seaworthy boat yet small enough to fit in a garage and light enough to be towed by a small car. The Compac 16 is easy to rig or de-rig in under 20 minutes. The solid fiberglass hull is in great condition and was heavily constructed for lasting strength and durability by Hutchins in Clearwater, FL. A full keel design with 400 lbs of ballast provides stability yet a shallow 18 inch draft, allowing for easy launching, confident sailing in skinny waters, and easy access to the beach. Two 8 foot sleeping berths and plenty of room for storage are found in the cabin. The huge 7 foot long cockpit accommodates 4 adults comfortably.

Only selling Moxie so that our growing family can move up to a Compac Eclipse. Length overall all: 16 ft Draft: 18 in Mast height from water line: 20 ft Weight: 1100 lbs Gross tow weight (vessel, trailer, motor, etc.): 1500-1600 lbs
