This 14' one-design is the perfect daysailer for beginners learning to sail, yet still a ton of fun for experienced sailers. Its 6' beam makes it pretty hard to capsize - I never managed to do it!
Features
Beautiful sails in great condition
Spring-action swing-keel and kick-up rudder
Roller-furling jib
Boom vang
Newly-added topping lift, to keep the boom out of the way at the dock.
I also added an extra fairlead to the boom, which really helps keep the mainsheet nice and tight to the boom.
Nice storage cubbie with enough room for all your supplies, and lunch, and some beer.
Cockpit is large enough for four adults.
Boat can be rigged in about 20-30 minutes.
Self bailing - unsinkable.
Flat bottom and swinging keel & rudder make this boat beachable!
Condition
It's in fine condition if you're not looking for something show-room perfect. I've patched a few dings and scratches from the dock, all from regular vacation use. The boat still looks like a dream in the water.
I've always stored it in a garage, as did the lady who owned it before me.
In fact, one great thing about a 14' boat is that it'll fit in a regular one-car garage, on the trailer.
The lines and hardware are all in great condition.
Trailer
The boat comes with a simple, galvanized trailer. Boat and trailer are light enough to easily maneuver by hand, and tow with a regular car.
Outboard Motor
I have a 2HP Johnson outboard. If you're interested, I'll throw it in for $100.
