The original owner ordered the boat and kept it on the lake in Pennsylvania at the selling dealer. The boat and trailer were stored INSIDE at the marina each year from September to May. The electric company controls access to the lake. This means that the boat was in the weather only about 40 months in the last 10 years.
The man became sick 3 years ago and sailed less and less. He eventually could not sail, but the marina workers helped him onto the boat, and he visited often. He died last March. We bought the boat from the salesman who ordered it in 2006.
Survey available for interested parties.
Since the survey, we bottom painted the boat (4 coats barrier, 3 bottom), added a Raymarine tridata, rope bags, tiller cover, rudder stay lines, winch holders, replaced lines that needed it, replaced the furling line (the one on it was too big diameter) and reseated the starboard sail track with buytl tape. We bought new tires and wheels and had the trailer serviced before pulling it from Pennsylvania. We have the original wheels and tires, too. The cooler and porta potti are original. I do not think they have ever been used.
The little leak marks in the survey we cleaned up, the one in the rear has never come back. The other appears to have been the sail track. We think we have that fixed.
