The Rasmus 35 was designed by the leading Swedish designer of elegant yachts of the 1960s, Olle Enderlein. It was the first sailing yacht in the world with a fixed windscreen and she has a full enclosure for the cockpit which makes her center cockpit very well protected, yet keeping with elegant lines.
I purchased this boat in Michigan and moved it to the Texas coast. In Michigan the boat saw action as a weekend cruiser and by the low hours on the motor appears to have only been in the water maybe five months of the year (75 hp Yanmar installed 2003). For winter months it was stored indoors and always winterized. The drinking water system is still winterized. I have not put it in the water here in Rockport.
When I got the boat it had an anchor with rope on it. I installed a Mantus anchor (and bow roller) with 300' of chain. Also an electric windlass (Maxwell RC8-8CAP 12V) was installed as well as a Garmin radar (18 xhd) and a masthead light (Signal Mate tricolor). When the mast was off the boat I also had a wind vane installed since the installer could not be sure that the wind instruments (KVH) were operating. Not pictured are the cushions and various other items I did not want to keep on the boat. Further information on Craigslist Corpus Christi, TX.
Since my plans have changed I am offering it for $45,000.
