She is a 1998 Hunter 260 fixed wing keel with yanmar 1gm10 diesel and wheel steering.
That's right, no water ballast and now swing keel. AB III has always been in freshwater.
Hunter made a few of the 260s in this variant before dubbing it the 270.
This 260 is ready to go with lots of extras.
All new Sunbrella. Bimini, jib sail, companionway cover, grill cover. 2017
Mainsail recently cleaned by Sailcare 2017
Harken battcar system makes raising the main smooth as butter.
Lazy jacks 2017
2 new Group 24 Deep cycle batteries 2017
100w solar panel and 10amp charge controller with low voltage cutoff 2017. No shore power. No need for it. It does have Xantrex battery charger but you will need to run extension cord.
New Jabsco manual waste pump 2017 reconfigured for fresh water flush through sink drain. No stink from the river water and makes winterizing soooo much easier. 13gal holding tank. Pump out only. No macerator pump to have to change out every year.
Racor fuel filter added outside 2017 for easier access. Hunter originally put the pre filter under rear birth. Why would you do this Hunter?
Yanmar runs great and starts every time. I do not know engine hours, but has been serviced regularly and does not burn oil. Sips the fuel at less than a quart per hour. With a 12 gallon tank, you can motor for days...literally.
12v outlet and usb fast charge outlets for those phones we have to take everywhere.
All lights (including mast) LED
Pressurized water (cold only) with new accumulator 2017
Lots of space and without water ballast, you get an extra few inches of head clearance.
Table spins forward for added V birth leg room and since no water ballast, also drops even with the seats to make a massive sleeping area.
This combined with queen size sleeping area under cockpit makes room for 4 adults and still space for kids in V.
Much much more
I am sure there are things I am forgetting, but please ask if you have any questions. I have plenty of pictures and can take more if there is anything specific you want to see. Overall AB III is a solid boat that only needs a fresh hull buffing to be in any better condition. If you want a boat that is ready to go, this is it.
I do not have a trailer. Unlike the swing keel models, trailers were not as common a part of the package with a fixed keel. I do have a friend with a trailer capable of hauling it.
Located on Wheeler Lake so the many areas are accessible by water.
