Cal 2-34, 1975

S/V Bivouac, a 1975 Cal 2-34 currently moored in Olympia, is well-suited for exploring the Pacific Northwest and other coastal waters. She's simple, solidly built, and comfortable. Featuring a reliable, low-hour diesel engine, cabin heat, and low-maintenance composting head, she'll comfortably take you to the San Juans, Gulf islands, Desolation Sound, Alaska, or beyond.

Engine

  • Westerbeke 35E-Three with 490 hours. Regularly maintained.

    Cabin Heat

  • Dickinson Newport diesel heater connected to stainless steel day tank. Provides reliable, dry heat underway or in port.

    Head

  • Airhead composting toilet with powered vent fan. Low-maintenance and no foul-smelling holding tank.

    Sails & Running Rigging

  • Main sail in good condition with two reef points. Lazyjacks.
  • Working jib in good condition with one reef point.
  • 130% genoa in fair condition.
  • Barient 27 self tailing winches for jib sheets. Headsails are hanked on.
  • Headsail downhaul rigged.

    Ground Tackle

  • Primary Anchor: Rocna 15kg with 200' of 5/16" chain and manual two-speed windlass. Additional anchors include Delta and Danforth and over 300' of 1/2" nylon rode.
  • 600' of floating line for stern tying

    Electrical

  • New starting battery
  • Siemens 55W Solar panel

    Electronics

  • New Raymarine Autohelm

    We're selling due to increasing work commitments, but the Bivouac is ready and equipped to head to your next destination! We just had her up in Desolation Sound and the Gulf Islands this summer.
