    This Scot is set up for safe and convenient single-handed daysailing:

  • North Recreational Mainsail with one set of reef points (2012)
  • North Snug Rig Jib with downhaul (2013)
  • Torqeedo Travel 1003 electric motor (2010)
  • Extra battery for motor (2016)
  • Sail Care Mark IV Lazy Jacks for the mainsail (2010) which also serves as a topping lift, about 5 minutes to deploy
  • Swim ladder, Plastimo compass, Windex, mainsail flotation, bow flotation bag, transom port, rudder lift, boom vang
  • Full over the boom and bow acrylic boat cover from Sailors' Tailor (2017) modified by them so that the jib can stay hanked on while flaked on the deck
  • The entire deck is white non-skid (2010)
  • Dock lines, fenders, sail ties, throwable cushion, extra cranks
  • No trailer, no spinnaker
  • A fully charged battery can move the boat at 4-4.5 mph with no wind over flat water for a bit more than 2 hours.

    The boat has been kept on a boat lift at Lake Norman since 2004 by the original owner.
