Well… damnit. It’s time to sell my boat. I have two young girls that are both in competitive sports and finding a weekend to get to work on or play on this ship is getting tough. So I’m taking one for the team. The Sail a Bration is a solid boat that doesn’t show her age. I’ve done a ton of work on it and hired some of our local service companies for the rest. Ritter Brothers Marine is great!
Here are some of the details below.
Wheel steering, no tiller
8 hp Tohatsu outboard motor
Fully serviced every season
Dual axel trailer (titled and licensed) was custom built (overbuilt) with electric brakes for this boat in 2017. Before that this she didn’t have a trailer.
Bottom painted Spring 2017 (should last 5 years)
New rigging installed on the majority of the boat
Sails are good. Just had them serviced in 2018 and the company that inspected them felt they were in very good shape and had another 10 yrs.
New port and hatch seals in 2017
New interior cushions in 2015
New stereo and LED light up speakers with amp installed in 2017
New portable head installed in 2016
New SuperStart marine batteries installed October 2018
Accessories include: 8 life jackets, throwable PFDs, boat pole, sail/winch covers, etc.
Slip at Jacomo Marina and dry storage paid through March 2019 ($1,200 annual fee)
Full canvas sunbrella cover. Just treated and fully re-stitched in 2017 (like new)
Companionway cover also treated
Bimini frame without bimini cover
Bimini (needs repair or replacement)
Portable marine A/C
New onboard water pump installed 2017 for sinks
Exterior teak refinished in 2017
All topside stations removed cleaned and resealed 2018
There is some deck spider cracking (can’t get a hair in the crack) just forward of the boom. This has been like that since I have owned the boat (was not that big of deal to me) and it has not grown.
