HOME AT LAST is a spacious, economical motor sailer with a unique layout.

Her pilot house and open cockpit provide shelter and enough space for sunning, fishing, or even a card table.

Her sails are in very good condition and have been used for only 6 or 7 light seasons.

Her refrigeration, auto-pilot, and invertor were all added in 2008.

Sails: Ulmer Kolius full battened Main (4 battens), Ulmer Kolius 120% Genoa with Schaffer roller furling, Spinnaker.

Winches: Maxwell two speed self-tailing on genoa, winches for Main and Jib halyards and Main sheet.

  • Batteries: 2 4Ds, 1 group 27 dedicated starting battery with monitor. All batteries are less than 3 year old AGMs.
  • Monitor system: Link 1000
  • Inverter charger: Freedom 10 1000 watt inverter, 50 amp charger
  • Auto Pilot: Ray Marine ST6002
  • Chart Plotter: Ray Marine RC435
  • Depth sounder is a Furuno LS4100
  • VHF is a Raymarine Ray54
  • AM/FM/CD is a Pioneer w/cockpit and cabin speakers
  • Refrigeration: Adler Barbour
  • Galley: SS sink, 3 burner propane stove with oven (2 10 lb tanks in cockpit compartment), original ice box has been refrigerated.
  • Head: Groco commode, sink, shower (no hot water heater at this time).
  • Water tanks: 29 gallon forward tank, 75 gallon starboard tank.
  • Holding Tank: 28 gallon
  • Fuel Tank: 55 Gallon
  • Engine: Westerbeke 46 with less than 2000 hours...burns 6/10 to 7/10 of a gallon per hour at 1850 rpm (about 6 knots).

HOME AT LAST has a huge v-berth and the dinette converts to a queen sized berth, the head is large for a 30 footer and there is 6' 2" headroom throughout. The pilot house has a back "curtain" with windows and screens, there are 4 hatches over the living area and two in the pilot house as well as 8 opening bronze ports and Dorade vents.

One of the cockpit hatches is a bit "soft" and she has the gelcoat crazing that is seen on most Cape Dory vessels.

The inverter/charger, refrigeration, and auto pilot are all less than 3 years old...the pilot house "curtain" is less than two years old.

The Cape Dory has sold. Thank you very much for all your help over the past couple of months.
