Boom mounted to tabernacle so mast can be lowered with mainsail in place
Galvanized Dilly trailer with good tires and lights
Beautiful classic sailboat. I've had this boat for a few years and it's been garage kept ever since I got it. When I bought the boat, the previous owner didn't tell me that it had a bad leak around the bailers. Needless to say, my first outing didn't last very long - so I want to be upfront and honest about what I've done since I've had it. I spent a lot of time and money fixing the problem that existed around the bailers. All the internal wood was replaced and new bailer gasket seals were installed. The last time I sailed, I was on the lake for over 4hrs. and when I got back to the dock one of the bailers had maybe a couple of ounces of water in it - no biggie. I also was able to find an original compass for the boat, which it didn't have one when I purchased the boat. Other than that, I designed and created a mast raising system that allows someone to easily raise and lower the mast.
