It is ready for racing (or cruising if you must)
Refurbished in '05. Sanded, filled and painted deck, hull, bottom and swing keel.
Sealed windows.
Many upgrades:
Installed all-rope halyards, two line reef, and flattening reef; all lead to cockpit through sheet stoppers.
Added Cunningham tackle, boom kicker and an 8 part internal outhaul.
Good sails.
Adjustable backstay.
6HP longshaft motor.
Two bolt bow eye with epoxied backing block and turnbuckle to headstay.
New deck fittings for the shrouds.
Below deck it is clean, functional but not frilly, teak table top, all but one cushion.
Lights work, if you put a battery in
Double axle trailer, new surge brake hitch, new rear axle and all new tires.
No reason to put a boat in the water if you're not going to race.
I'm too old, I haven't won a race in a long time.
Will teach sailing and/or racing to get a newbie started.
