Accommodations
One reason the famous Catalina 30 is so popular is the extremely roomy and usable interior.
The vee berth is forward with with a filler cushion, and shelves around both sides. There is storage underneath and access to the bow compartment in the front.
Moving aft, there is storage along the starboard side with a roomy hanging locker and 4 drawers all built into an attractive cabinet.
Across to port is the head. Hot and cold pressure water, a shower with sump, and an upgraded head.
Next aft is the salon. This design features an L-shaped dinette settee to port. The table folds up against the forward bulkhead for storage, giving a very spacious salon. It also can be lowered to form a spacious double berth for those occasional guests. To starboard is a single settee. There are small shelves along both sides above the settees.
Aft of the salon, the galley is to port. The U-shaped galley has a lot of counter space, a nice ice box built into the aft section, an Origo alcohol stove has been installed into the cabinets. The forward section has a double S.S. sinks with hot and cold pressure water.
Across from the galley and to the right of the companionway is the nav station. The electrical control panel for the boat is located here.
Aft of the nav and under the cockpit is the generous quarterberth.
In general the upholstery is in very good condition.
