    Accommodations

  • One reason the famous Catalina 30 is so popular is the extremely roomy and usable interior.
  • The vee berth is forward with with a filler cushion, and shelves around both sides. There is storage underneath and access to the bow compartment in the front.
  • Moving aft, there is storage along the starboard side with a roomy hanging locker and 4 drawers all built into an attractive cabinet.
  • Across to port is the head. Hot and cold pressure water, a shower with sump, and an upgraded head.
  • Next aft is the salon. This design features an L-shaped dinette settee to port. The table folds up against the forward bulkhead for storage, giving a very spacious salon. It also can be lowered to form a spacious double berth for those occasional guests. To starboard is a single settee. There are small shelves along both sides above the settees.
  • Aft of the salon, the galley is to port. The U-shaped galley has a lot of counter space, a nice ice box built into the aft section, an Origo alcohol stove has been installed into the cabinets. The forward section has a double S.S. sinks with hot and cold pressure water.
  • Across from the galley and to the right of the companionway is the nav station. The electrical control panel for the boat is located here.
  • Aft of the nav and under the cockpit is the generous quarterberth. In general the upholstery is in very good condition.
