Selling my Sabre, my nomadic lifestyle demands I get something more trailerable. Asking $3,900, or trade for a trailer sailor. This boat was extensively raced in the past, and has a few things I haven't seen on other sabres, such as a spinnaker launcher (j24 spinnaker, pole, and all other gear included)
Spinnaker launcher tube, when loaded extends all the way aft to the companionway. It has an adjustable backstay and traveler controls run under the cockpit sole.
It's the only one i've seen equipped with a barney post.
Interior is minimal(previous owner spent more on go-fast than amenities), but hull is bulletproof.
She's a blast to sail-dips her toe rail in the water and takes off like a rocket ship.
I'm told she sails like a hobie 33, but i've never been on one.
10 year old awlgrip is a bit tired, & interior could use more work to suit tastes.
i'm currently doing some woodwork for it, but consider it a blank slate for whatever you want it to be. cushions have unstained,untorn sunbrella covers.
