Corsair F-27, 1988

Since '95 this boat spent its life in Wisconsin with it's second owner being dry docked under cover in the winder and day sailing the local lakes and family cruising Lake Michigan, in the summers. It was trailered all but one season, during which time it was moored on the previous owner's local lake. It's been in Texas for 10 months, only having been sailed in 2 of those months last summer.

The seasonal use of this boat shows as it is in fantastic shape for its age. It is well fitted out for coastal family cruising, day sailing, and for the racer who wants to go fast, but isn't concerned about having the highest-tech sails, rigging, and other "go fast" upgrades.

The sails are the original dacron sails from Corsair. They include a pin-top mainsail, working jib, very heavy duty storm jib, 150% genoa, and symmetrical spinnaker. Which are in good to very good condition and will last many, many more seasons on the water.

Hull has no join flange separations or de-lamination and the gelcoat is good for the age, having spent it's life in the less intense summer sun of Wisconsin.

Trailer is in excellent shape with brand new tires.

The instruments were re-manufactured this winter and will be freshly installed with no time on them.

All thru-hulls below the waterline have been eliminated, so there are no concerns about water damage to the hulls' foam core from improperly sealed thru-hull fittings.

Brand new head with Y-valve for pump out or on-board black water storage.

Very good, low hours 8hp 2-stroke Yamaha outboard (6-7knots at full throttle)

The boat includes many, many extras: replacement stainless hardware, auto helm, solar panel, fenders, bimini, barber haulers, cunningham, boom vang, Force 10 marine stove, cockpit cushions.

This boat sails like a dream, I once had 12 adults on it, cruising easy at 12 knots. Everybody was comfortable and having a great time. It was my first big boat and I learned to sail it only from sailing Hobie cats for a few months prior.

It's pretty rare to find one of these boats priced this low, particularly in this type of condition. I'm looking to make a quick sale, so please contact me if you are seriously interested.
