Islander 30, MK II, 1975

  • Wheel steering on binnacle with tiller steering option
  • 2 cylinder Volvo Penta diesel motor with low hours and in good running order.
  • 100L (25 Gal) stainless steel fuel tank, new fuel lines, and overhauled fuel system
  • Easily sleeps 4 adults (2 in v-berth, 2 in salon) (Quarter berth used for storage, but could easily be converted back to a roomy berth for another adult)
  • 6'2" headroom in cabin
  • Well equipped galley, including: gimbaled 2 burner propane stove, stainless sink with salt and fresh water foot pumps, spice rack, lots of drawers, and plenty of space for pots/pans/flatware/etc.
  • 12v/110v Adler Barbour Super Cold Machine refridgeration system keeps things cold (or even frozen!) in the roomy fridge compartments.

  • 100L/25Gal freshwater tank with new hoses running to galley and head sinks.
  • Completely refitted head with stainless sink and vanity. Head includes options for direct discharge, flush to holding tank, pump out through deck fitting, and discharge holding tank through electric macerator.
  • Complete electrical refit for both 110 and 12V, including new panels, wiring, shore power w/ 50' cord, and bulk charge controller.
  • 2 marine grade 1280 MCA deep cycle batteries,

  • (2) Barient 23 two-speed self tailing sheet winches mounted on coamings
  • (1) Lewmar 16 two-speed self tailing main sheet winch mounted on cabin-top for cockpit control

  • All winches are recently overhauled and running sweet!
  • Standing rigging recently replaced and in great shape
  • Running rigging all in good condition, includes vang preventers, cunningham, reefing lines, and extra lines and gear.
  • All through hulls are recent and in good condition with new valves and lines
  • Manual bilge pump operated from cockpit, and heavy duty Rule 2000 submersible electric bilge pump with Rule water level switch for automatic operation
  • Integral (fiberglass enclosed) keel, so no keel bolts to rust and no cronic cracking between the hull and keel!
  • Bottom painted Dec 2010 with top quality anti-fouling paint - two full coats and three at the water line
  • Super deluxe ground tackle package includes double stainless bow rollers, 25# CQR on 100' 5/16 BBB chain and 250’ three strand nylon, 22# Bruce back-up anchor on 15' chain and 200' three strand nylon, and Danforth stern anchor on 100' 5/16 BBB chain and 200' three strand nylon. All chain galvanized and in good condition, and all nylon in great condition.
  • Maxwell Freedom 800# 12V electric windlass with deck mounted AND cockpit controls for both raising and lowering the anchor

  • 8' Avon inflatable dinghy with good quality wooden oars
  • British Seagull Forty-Plus 2HP outboard for dinghy
  • Safety equipment includes (2) five pound ABC fire extinguishers, (1) ten pound ABC fire extinguisher, assorted flares and flare gun, MOB horseshoe, 4 PFDs, stainless steel folding boarding swim ladder

    Other equipment:

  • (5) fenders, super awesome teak folding cockpit table with wings, stainless stern boom and hoist system, beautiful spare tiller handle, and a bunch of other stuff

    This is a well maintained, easy to sail vessel that is US Coast Guard documented. It is rigged for easy single or double handed sailing and has plenty of room for friends and family.
