Macgregor 25, 1982
Overall good shape and ready to trailer and sail.
Includes mast, boom, all rigging, rudder, 3 sails in good condition in original sail bags (main, jib, & genoa), and sail cover.
Also includes Mercury 9.9, 2 stroke outboard, remote throttle, electric start with 3 gallon fuel tank.
This is an all fiberglass "trailer sailor". It has bow and aft rails and safety lines and would sleep 6 (children or little people.) Less than 2' draft with swing keel up allows it to go where other sailboats can't. It was made for several years by the most successful American builder and was inducted into the sailboat hall of fame. Positive floatation in the bow and aft makes it almost unsinkable.
Large pop top roof, 2 opening hatches, private head compartment, new cushions with Sunbrella fabric. Includes anchor holder, anchor and rode, 5 life jackets, 3 fenders, swim ladder, stereo. Owner's manual and clear title. Needs battery and new Porta Potti (I discarded old one.)
Factory trailer with good tires (3 years old), licensed, new runners and lights, bearing buddy "quick grease" hubs. Pulls very easy and smoothly since the boat only weighs 2,100 lbs. Trailer needs new tongue jack (about $50.)
Located in Perryville, Arkansas near Little Rock.
I sold my boat today from the a Craigslist ad. It's the first place I'm looking to find a replacement. Thank you for your prompt attention and the nice ad. Also, the sailing lesson videos are wonderful!
