The Morgan Out Island 33 is a comfortable and safe coastal cruiser. It has a spacious interior layout, featuring sleeping accommodations for up to seven with a private stateroom forward and double berth aft. The main cabin offers an L-shaped galley and tons of storage throughout. A sloop rig with full keel hull and a 50hp Perkins diesel the Out Island 33 offers a lot of interior space and almost 7 ft of head room below. The large cockpit with cushions, removable cockpit table and two catbird seats aft is roomy and great for cruising or entertaining. There is a 3 foot swim platform with boarding ladder. The flush deck design and stainless steel stanchion with double life lines makes it easy and safe to move around the deck.
We have crossed the gulf a half dozen times and cruised the Keys for up to 3 months at a time. Dragon is a safe well rigged boat for a couple or family. The shallow draft and mast clearance makes it an ideal boat for Florida, the gulf and the keys. We have redone the galley and main cabin within the last year and overhauled the engine cooling system two years ago.
