Sea Pearl 21, 1989
I regret selling this boat as I just purchased it in May.
As of this date, I have not been physically able to sail the boat.
I had a heart incident soon after my return from picking up this boat in June from Michigan.
I would like to explain why I went all the way to Michigan to pick up this boat when others are available in the south. This boat has never been in salt water to my knowledge. First, it is the latest rig. Complete with ballast tanks and almost all available options. Second, and probably the biggest reason is the boats up north do not get the use or wear and tear of more southern boats.
This boat shows as new.
Excellent shape from one end to the other. I am using the photos from Michigan but I assure you it looks the same.
I have never even rigged the boat. The boat was covered and stored its entire life with the exception of sailing.
The Teak and holly floor looks new. Sails are original but in great shape. It is complete with a Johnson 4hp long shaft outboard. It has the cockpit tent for the forward opening to allow camping. This is truly a must see to appreciate boat. It is priced well below new pricing but average for its age. The condition is way above others I have seen and compares to the 14-15 thousand dollar boats available.
Nothing is needed to sail today. If I was hopeful of being physically healthy enough to sail this boat, I would not have it for sale now.
Alison, I sold the boat. Thanks.
