"Winter Wren" is the gamest 18-1/2 footer you can take for that weekend cruise - or offshore passage - then store at home.
This Winter Wren is of West System composite construction and has been stored indoors the past 13 years.
She has just received fresh interior paint and varnish and Micron CSC bottom paint.
Has gaff mainsail. Needs small jib and anchor.
After the interior and were bottom were painted, it was discovered an area
of the plywood hull needed repair. Due to time constraints, owner has
decided to price boat aggressively instead of carrying out the fix. Repair
is a straight forward stitch and glue procedure.
This Winter Wren has done extensive double-handed cruising on Georgian Bay, Ontario. Has also been single-handed down the East Coast and to the Bahamas.
Mainsail is in strong condition.
Needs jib, anchor and a section of the hull repaired.
The Winter Wren comes with a trailer that recently hauled her 400 miles.
The trailer alone is worth nearly the asking price of the boat.
Can be viewed in Oriental, NC.
