Strong, seaworthy, classic; the Bobcat is a 12.5' catboat designed by Phil Bolger, with build book by Harold Payson.
With its six-foot beam, it sails big, and is stable and comfortable.
I have been using it as a day sailor on the St. Johns River.
The previous owner camp cruised her using a modified tent (included) secured on the deck.
Construction is fiberglass over AC fir with all wood spars and weighs approx. 250 lbs.
The boat was built in 2002, and has been stored under cover when not in use. It is in fine condition - excellent carpentry and like new, professionally-made sail.
Fairing is a bit uneven, but it still looks great and is very solid.
I have added several modifications and improvements; modular seating for added comfort and sleeping platform, upgraded running rigging, mast crutch and more.
Also included: A Guardian Fortress anchor custom fitted to the deck of the boat for easy deployment and clean retrieval, new stainless steel adjustable motor mount, build book, plans, and full size stencils.
No trailer, although my Harbor Freight trailer is available for an additional $200. Any small flatbed type trailer could be used for transport.
