Cape Dory Typhoon, 1976

As close to an original new Typhoon as one can get, used very little, an original Typhoon requiring no restoration, hull, cockpit, and deck solid; no soft spots, stored inside heated workshop, all teak sanded and finished with Sikken's Cetol Natural, original teak toe rails, rub rails, seats, tiller, and bilge cover, Interlux VC-17 bottom paint, Mercury long shaft 5hp; used little; Mercury dealer-serviced each spring and fall; internal tank and separate 6 gallon portable tank; original owner's manual and unused service manual. Very reliable motor in excellent mechanical and physical condition. Includes original bronze Handy motor mount installed by Cape Dory, single-axle trailer with new wiring harness and lights, new tires including spare, bearings recently inspected and packed, highway worthy, bilge pumps: Rule-Mate fully automatic 500GPH electric bilge pump governed by Rule 3-way panel switch located in forepeak; one manually-operated portable bilge pump,electrical system: One 12V AGM (55AH) with Sunsei CC10000, 12V, 10 amp solar charge controller (fused), charging system: Framed 12V, 5 watt, rigid, waterproof solar panel; currently set up for fixed-base mounting at dock with 10' power cord (waterproof plug-in receptacle on board), compass: New Plastimo Mini-Contest 2 Mast Mount, sails: Excellent condition original main with roller-reefing; excellent condition 150% genoa (year unknown); excellent condition original working jib, two sail bags, Pacific blue mainsail cover, Pacific blue jib cover, Pacific blue tiller cover, sails and covers unused after servicing by Sail Care, wood battens, white elastic sail ties with wood toggles, self-tending jib with club boom, new Sailor’s Tailor full over-the-boom cockpit cover, Barlow 15 jib/genoa winches; disassembled, lubricated, then reassembled; not-installed, original Schaefer stand-up genoa blocks on original 3/4" tracks, new Sta-set X halyards and Sta-set sheets from Milwaukee Rigging, standing rigging in excellent original condition (one upper shroud and forestay replaced in 2010 just to match original closed turnbuckles), new white shroud and turnbuckle protective covers with caps, new white spreader boots with white rigging tape (uninstalled), new-in-bag Beckson screw-out white 8" deck plates (uninstalled) for winch installation, new Beckson screw-out white 6" deck plates installed to replace original teak covers (original teak covers included), Danforth anchor, vinyl covered chain, and 150' of line, two white throw-able floatation cushions, four unused new adult personal flotation devices in original storage bag, marine first aid kit, Orion USCG marine safety kit (12 gauge red aerial signals and hand held red signal flares expired), collapsible aluminum boat hook, dock lines, fenders, and some miscellany, large forepeak locker storage area holds secured battery box, bilge pump switch and solar charge controller mounted on teak panel, manual bilge pump, boat hook, anchor, chain, rode, first aid kit, marine safety kit, PFDs, and two seat cushions with room to spare.
