The Moment of Zen is a fine vessel for someone learning to sail and is an excellent first boat. It has a generous cockpit and secure cabin that sleeps 2 adults and a child or two.I have removed the V berth cushions and installed a stereo enclosure with 3 drawers and storage for charts. This adds loads of organized storage, but can be easily removed if the V berth is needed.
This boat is small enough to launch on a local lake, but big enough for day sailing on the ocean. For an 18 foot boat, it is very well mannered and comfortable. Having a keel with 425# of ballast makes a big difference.
I can't say enough good things about this boat; I'm moving up to Catalina 25 (Catalina makes a fine boat!) so I need to sell this one.
The boat is located in Derry, NH. I could deliver free within 50-60 miles; longer distance would require gas money & sweet talk.
