I have reinforced the port side chain plate with 2x6 boards and lag bolts.
I have sailed this boat well over 125 times in the 2.5 years I've owned her.
She is very stable and safe as well as fast and sleek.
She could stand an all around paint job (both interior and exterior), but functionally she needs nothing to sail today.
Someone with some wood working expertise might do well updating some of the older interior wood.
