Macgregor 26S, 1992
This is an excellent boat for trailer sailing due to water ballast system. The boat weight is 1650 lbs without ballast and only needs a single axle trailer to transport. It can easily be pulled by most V-6 engine vehicles. Boat is always covered and well maintained. There is no exterior wood to maintain except the tiller so it is very easy on maintenance.
Standard and extra features:
150 gallon (1,200 lbs) water ballast , fiberglass swing keel, fiberglass kickup rudder with tiller and tiller extension.
Pop top hatch with fiberglass door and snap in enclosure.
Fordeck hatch and large stern lazerette. Bow pulpit, two sheet winches and handle. Forward V berth and a queen-size rear berth with cushions and storage underneath. 2 salon settees with cushions and storage underneath. Cook top and enclosed porta potty head. Interior cabin lights and running lights. Jib, Main and Genoa w/a roller furling system. Main is set up with internal mast track slides. Mast trailering support and mast raising system. Danforth anchor with chain and 100' of line, 2 dock lines and a marine radio. 12 volts of power from 2-6 volt deep cycle batteries w/a battery charger. Bulkhead compass and swim ladder. Cockpit cushions and a brand new Bimini. Customized trailer with carpeted rails, an extra front roller and Bearing Buddies. Swivel jack and brand new tires. 12 HP electric start outboard w/a 20 gal. internal (in the lazerette) fuel tank.
The boat and engine has seen little use and is in great condition (the genoa has never even been up). Just needs the lines run from the roller furling to the cockpit (all the other lines are routed to the cockpit for single-handing). Also needs the radio and electric start switch for the motor and the fuel from the internal tank hooked up.
