Tanbark(Dacron) sail is a gaff rig with 2 sets of reef points (sail cover is 1 year old). The sail does have several patches but works like it should. I had sailmakers at JSI in St. Petersburg look at it and they said there is plenty of sailing left in the sail.
Solid teak seats, built in motor well.
All lines in good shape
All woodwork refinished with teak oil
Floor was painted with Interlux paint
Forward hatch for easy anchor access.
There is a new rudder by Ruddercraft.com. In addition to the rudder (Unifoil #2, kick up style), a new tiller was installed with an added foot to the original length. The added length makes it much easier for the skipper to move to the center of the boat while sailing without a tiller extension. The new rudder has made tacking and jibing much more predictable compared to the original rudder. The original rudder and tiller are included with the boat.
The trailer was rebuilt last year with new bunks, bearings, hubs, tires, springs and winch.
Included with the boat is a Motorguide "Great White" trolling motor. It is a 52 pound thrust motor and is designed for salt water. Works great and supplies plenty of power to move the Hen in and out of the marina.
A marine battery is included and is less than a year old.
