O'Day Boats was around a long time by fiber-glass boatbuilding standards, about 30 years. When it was introduced, the O'Day 22 was touted as a competitive contender on the race course. The 22 had a masthead rig, a stylish rake to the transom, shallow (23") draft with a short stub keel (note that a 'Wing' has been added to the keel by a previous owner), and is light weight (advertised 1,800 lbs) for trailering.
But, there is NO Trailer!
Vessel is presently in a slip, sailable and its condition is "Fair", at best (for an almost 38 year old boat).
Length: 22'
Beam: 7'-2"
Draft: about 23"
Vessel is offered for $500 as-is/where-is. She is owned (w/ Clear Texas Title) by a Non-profit Organization, dedicated to Youth Sailing Education. It is located at the Dallas Corinthian Yacht Club, Oak Point, Texas, at the north end of Lake Lewisville.
