The International Tempest is a 22' two man high performance keel boat with a trapeze. It was designed by Ian Proctor in the 60s as a new style of Olympic racer, and it won a lot of races. The class is coming back in the US, and has continued in Europe.
There is a great Tempest community in the US that has been a huge help to me.
This is a fast, fun boat that is easy to handle.
It is in good shape, sails very well, but can still use more work to continue its restoration.
It has a main and jib, both are old but serviceable.
I have replaced all of the control lines and deck hardware.
New windward sheeting traveler and track, rudder and trapeze components.
The boat has a number of surface scuffs and scratches, but is totally sound.
