The Bull's Eye is a perfect daysailer. Classic Herreshoff design that carries all of the same sailing characteristics as the Herreshoff H-12 1/2 but can handle stronger winds and seas, and provides the seaworthiness that has made the design so famous.
The Bull's Eye can be easily single handed with her self-tending jib, and with the full keel, provides a safe and steady ride. It's great for experienced and beginning sailors alike.
The Bull's Eye has a nice size cockpit that will comfortably accommodate 4 or 5 adults, and a cuddy, which along with the lazerette in the stern, provides ample storage.
The Bull's Eye has active one-design racing fleets from Florida to Maine and an active national association.

Our family is the original owner and purchased Eagle #539 directly from Cape Cod Shipbuilding in 1966. Since the initial purchase, we actively sailed and raced her almost exclusively in Buzzards Bay, MA (known for its chop and heavier conditions) until 5 years ago. During the season, she was kept on mooring; during offseason, housed on trailer in our garage. Grey topside, white hull, teak trim.
Equipment: Two full sets of sails in good condition - main, working jib, genoa-- spinnaker, spinnaker pole, jib club, boom vang, boom rest, genoa tracks, winches, compass, anchor, trailer, cockpit cover.
Cape Cod Shipbuilding remains in business with parts available.
Location of boat: Pocasset, MA (Cape Cod)
I wanted to let you know that our boat has sold. Thank you for all of your help in this listing.
