She's been a great boat, but I don't have time for her anymore. She points decently upwind; absolutely flies downwind in heavy air. A few details:
CDI Furler
9.9hp Johnson electric-start OB - runs great
Lewmar self-tailing winches
New stainless steel keel bolts & new steel sole plates
Mainsail and furling jib in good shape
Spinnaker + pole
Bowsprit-mounted anchor
VHF Radio
CD Player + 4 speakers (sounds great!)
Needs:
2 new jib sheets
Roller furling halyard
TPWD registration sticker
Could use a haul & bottom job eventually...
New captain
The keel bolt job was big. You should never have to worry about 'em. The old rusty bolts were carefully backed out and new stainless bolts and nuts were inserted and torqued-down. Copious amounts of 5200 were involved. Steel plates were added for reinforcement and summarily waterproofed (see pics). This keel isn't going anywhere...
Great boat for novice and experienced sailors alike. I'll throw in a couple free sailing lessons for the new owner, if needed.
I take cash only, but will consider interesting trades (ie. other boats, vehicles, etc). Tell me what you're thinkin'...

PRICE LOWERED TO $1950. OBO!
1969 Columbia 26 MkII - 2nd owner
Listed this boat earlier for $3500, but just realized that if it doesn't sell soon, it's gonna be trapped in its current marina until it rains enough to mount an effective escape. There's currently ~1-2 feet of water under the keel. Gotta quit being lackadaisical about selling it. Hence: $600 discount! Buy cheap now and move it to Bayview, Chandlers, Rush Creek, etc...while you still can. I've got another sailboat at Bayview and really don't feel like continuing to pay for two slips until Mother Nature relents. Plus, I can only sail one boat at a time.
