We are attempting to sell our beloved Banana Wind, A 1978 Columbia 10.7 (35 footer). She is currently somewhat of a project boat due to the fact that she made it through Hurricane IKE
With no holes or major scars. However, she does need most of her Stanchions replaced and a bit of fiberglass repair of typical scratches. She needs new bottom paint after that of course. The mast is also removed currently and has undergone A complete restoration with only the final coat of epoxy remaining to be sprayed on. All the final epoxy paint, wiring and lights have already been purchased for the mast and will be included with the sale of the vessel, along with all the current standing and running rigging. She is currently berthed at the Sabine Pass Port Authority in Sabine Pass, TX. The slip averages about $220.00 per month and Live-Aboards are allowed with an additional Fee per month added (not sure what that figure is). There is a boat yard within about 7 miles or so that can possibly haul out the vessel or put the mast back in. The wife and I lived aboard her up until Hurricane IKE took out the Marina we originally had her berthed in or we would probably be still living on her today! I simply don’t have the time to finish what needs to be done on her currently with my busy work schedule so I figure she should go to a new and caring owner out there somewhere. She will be a good solid vessel for The right person – this much I can still vouch for! I want to reiterate that this is a project boat just for clarification. All pictures submitted are current.
SOLD. Your site got me more exposure than even our local market here! Thanks again!
