I bought this Compac 16 three years ago from the original owner in New Mexico. It is a solid boat and looks very nice. I always get compliments when I take it to the lake. The boat has never been in salt water. The original gelcoat on the hull is in good shape and you can see your reflection in it. The boot stripes where brown but I repainted them in navy blue Interlux Brightside 2 years ago. The deck is a little chalky and could use some attention. There are some little stress cracks in the gelcoat around a few of the screws that hold the jib tracks and a few around the mast step. Nothing wrong structurally but you can see them. The mast light doesn't work but the other running lights are good. The cabin area and cushions look like new.
