I purchased this beautiful sailboat from the original owner who cared for it as well as I have! The boat is in excellent condition. It has never been painted and has all of the original gel coating. It has been polished regularly and kept in mint condition. This is a one of a kind old-school Compac that is very special and will give someone and their family a lifetime of enjoyment.

  • The boat was used only in fresh water. It was kept in covered storage between uses.
  • The sails were kept indoors between usages and never stored in the boat.
  • Everything you need to sail is included.

The Compac 16 is a traditional looking day sailor with cuddy cabin. There is a lot of factory installed Teak wood and trim on this boat. No scratches, damage, breaks or broken parts to boat, rigging and hardware. I have gotten complements almost every time I have taken her out! A popular design that is easy to trailer, launch, and sail.

  • The Compac holds its value well and is in like new condition. This is a rugged, stable, seaworthy boat, yet small enough to fit in a garage and light enough to be towed by a small car.
  • The Compac 16 is heavily built with long lasting, quality materials and construction. The full shoal draft keel with 450 lbs of ballast provides stability yet a shallow 18" draft allowing for easy launching, sailing in shallow lakes and bays, and pulling up close to the beach. The enclosed cuddy cabin allows storing gear or camping equipment inside, with two full sized 8’ cushioned sleeping berths and a porta potii.
