Much time and money have been put into Chappy in the last 2 years as well as spares.
Chappy is in route to Houston Texas and currently is in Cartagena Colombia. In a week I will start the homeward legs of an amazing voyage that I have taken with Chappy. (the boat should be in Texas around Jan or Feb. )Starting in Boston in 2012 I sailed Chappy down the east coast to Charleston SC our final stop before jumping off shore sailing east into the Atlantic then turning South and completing a 1600 mile run to Puerto Rico in 17 days. Experiencing wind over 50mph with seas to match and everything in between. From the Caribbean I sailed on to South America for the hurricane season.
This is a special boat 24ft on deck and 7000 pounds. It is a very large boat for 24'. It is a capable off shore boat with a track record. Chaps unique layout allows me at 6'6" to stand in the main part of the salon and sleep with comfort. The cockpit is surprisingly large and very comfortable. The hull and deck were built by Portsmouth boat works (same as Southern Cross) and the interior and some exterior were fitted by Hinckley (needless to say the boat is beautiful inside. )

Moving forward port and starboard are two long berths with a table that wings out for eating. There is no V birth in Chappy, instead we find a head, sink, closet and open hanging locker, as well as a large area for storing line etc. In the forepeak, sail storage. Interior includes Adler-Barbour refrigerator freezer, Origo stove, Force 10 wall mounted Diesel or kerosene heater.

Additional: I have some blue print copies as well as the past owner has many photos of the Hinckley build that are available to upon request. And much more.
