Fountaine Pajot Cassamance 46', 1989, New Orleans, Louisiana
46' length, 23'7" beam, 3'9" draft
This is a proven world cruiser! The yacht has crossed the Atlantic 3 times. All lights, switches, pumps, tanks, steering, are in fine condition and functional. I sailed the boat 4000 nautical miles in the last few months to bring the boat back to the states.
The boat is docked in New Orleans but THIS IS NOT a hurricane survivor POS. She is a fast, clean, functional vessel ready for her next owner. She's a big boat at 46' long and 23'7" wide. She'll sleep 8 comfortably. I've had 18 people on the boat at one time. Her hulls are shiny, her decks are clean, and she's never been in a collision that I am aware of. My partner and I are her second owners. She is equipped with 4 staterooms with queen berths, 2 heads with showers, and an open cockpit. She has narrow hulls for fast sailing, but tons of room for her staterooms. She is equipped for long range cruises (she's been across the Atlantic 3 times). With her 4 solar panels, huge battery banks and inverters, she has the power to accomplish most creature comfort tasks. She runs 2 Volvo Penta 2003 28hp engine on sail drives.
She has both newer and older electronics that will get you to your destination (see list below).
Additional pics are available. Current transferable slip $350.00 per month.
I lost one engine and one saildrive. I have one good engine and one good sail drive, they are just on opposite sides of the boat. These can be replaced, or a repower with a set of used Yanmars at 3500.00 each would be a better option (in my opinion). I did put a small tear in the jib by the clew on arrival to NOLA a few weeks ago. It's a small and serviceable repair. 220 euro elec. Transom steps do show a bit of dock rash, but this is cosmetic. She has a few nicks and scrapes, but nothing to get excited about.
