Hunter 26.5, 1987, Stockton Lake, Missouri

  • $10,000 or part trade for tall rig Catalina 30
  • Currently located on Stockton Lake, Mo.

The following items were new or restored in 2012-2013:

  • Barrier coat and bottom paint by Grand Mariner
  • Sides buffed and waxed by Grand Mariner
  • Tiller refinished and hiking stick installed
  • Main and Jib Halyard replacement and feeder line for the new spinnaker halyard has been run.

  • Masthead light, steaming/foredeck light, bow and stern light
  • Boomkicker
  • Mainsheet system
  • Backstay adjuster
  • Internal boom blocks for outhaul and reefing
  • 110volt system with 2 15amp circuits with GFI and six outlets. New shore power cord and Marinco 110 inlet.
  • 12volt system with upgrade control panel
  • Marine stereo with 4 internal and 2 external speakers. Radio has weather band and CD/SD/USB inputs
  • West Marine fixed base VHF with new antennae. The stereo radiotuner uses the same antennae with a spliter.
  • Second 12volt panel in the lazerett for aft items
  • 2, 12 volt deep cycle batteries relocated to the port settee for better balance. One battery new in 2011, the other new in May 2012.
  • Marine battery charger/maintainer
  • Motorcycle battery with trickle charger for outboard electric start
  • Fresh water system with electric faucet
  • New sink plumbing
  • Microwave oven
  • Marine "no-tip" porta-potti
  • 6 inch memory foam V berth cushions and covers
  • Interior wood refinished
  • Replacement wall covering
  • Replacement flooring
  • LED bulbs for interior lights

  • Amsteel Spectra lifelines with cushions, gates and pelican hooks for both sides.
  • Restored 9.9 Nissan W/carb kit and new starter and kill switch
  • New cowl paint and appropriate decals for Nissan outboard
  • Quick disconnect 55lb thrust long shaft trolling motor with transom plug and gate mount on outboard bracket next to the outboard. Handy for backing out of the slip and sneaking up on fish.
  • Fuel system with new fuel tank, fuel lines and connectors and a fuel filter water separator combination
  • Sails have been reworked with suncovers and furler bolt ropes for the 110 and 135%. The main has had modest re-stitching and there is a later model furling 155% Quantum mylar/carbon fiber Genoa. The 135 is at the sailmaker for a little more reworking.
  • Dock box, dock lines, steps, and shore power cord are included and the slip has been "modified" for this boat. Slip fee is paid through April 2014 and the pro-rated remaining lease can be negotiated in the purchase if the boat stays here.

    Other points of interest:

  • This Hunter 26.5 has original factory upgrades and other upgrades added prior to 2012. The Z-spar mast and boom were optional and were added to improve performance. The boom allows two reefs to be set up along with the main outhaul. The mast has a spinnaker halyard exit block and a previous owner had the boat set up for an asymmetrical chute. There are three self-tailing winches and one standard halyard winch. The control lines and halyards are led aft through deck organizers and sheet stoppers on both sides of the cabin top. There is a Danforth anchor, chain, and rode in the anchor locker and I added an anchor chock to better handle the anchor line. The boat with the extra battery and 12 volt upgrades is ready to "cove-out" and the open transom with swim ladder is great for getting on and off of the boat. There are two cockpit seat cushions in excellent condition. The V-berth has had an extension added and an extended cushion to make it wider and longer and these cushions have a new 6 inch memory foam mattress and new covers. The alcohol stove is original and works but we use the new microwave as the primary cooking appliance. A simple pull-out has been installed for a small ice chest and for longer stays, we bring a bigger 48qt cooler which fits behind the cabin steps. The bag of standard life jackets stays and along with new lifelines, the electric horn with cockpit button has been installed for safety.

The boat sold on 7-5. Thank you.
