Solid hull with normal wear and tear for its age.
The bottom of the hull is very clean and solid. The top has a few transportation rub spots but nothing significant. With a new sail there is no reason why this would not be a competitive boat. The rudder is in near new condition and the dagger board has some wear spots but no nicks.
The trailer is galvanized and structurally in great condition. I have trailered it around Texas with no issues and the bearings stayed cool. One light doesn't work but it is most likely just a loose wire I haven't tried to trace. You would need to register it.
This Laser is ready to sail! Rigged it up on June 5th to sail it at the Rockport beach and learned 2 things:
1. The beach is filled with Jellyfish like can and will sting.
2. It's about 100 yards before I can get the rudder down and when it finally gets deep enough to put down the rudder...See note 1.
Since I am only in Rockport during the week for work and during the weekends I am back in Houston and sail a Hunter 33', the Laser needs to be sold as I won't use it during my weeks here.
