Pacific Seacraft 25, 1978

Houston, Texas

She is ready to go over the horizon.

The engine has been rebuilt, the sails are excellent, the extras are many

Turtle can be inspected in Houston by appointment please.

  • From the bow back she has a CDI roller furler, a Lofrans manual windlass, a Lewmar ocean series aluminum deck hatch.
  • Mast steps, good running rigging, good standing rigging, fresh deck paint and really good non skid.
  • Most all the hardware is Ronstan.
  • The usual bronze winches are on the cabin top and self tailing sheet winches on the coaming.
  • The YSM8R motor was rebuilt 3yrs ago and has about 30hrs since then.
  • There is an ST2000+ tiller pilot with a wired remote.

A complete set of sail covers and sheet bags, 100%jib, 150% genoa, full batten main with 2 reef points, and a really old well used but very usable spinnaker with an ATN Tacker for flying as an asymmetrical, and of course a whisker pole with the correct mounts at the mast.

There is a 2 burner Dickinson propane stove, a 6 pound aluminum tank, a VHF, an HP laptop running SeaClear and AIS with on board charger. All 3500+ NOAA charts are on the computer but they will need to be updated(free from NOAA).

The fuel tank holds 18gal and the engine uses about a quart an hour at cruising speed.

  • The fresh water tank is under the v berth and holds 29gal.
  • Both manual and pressure water come from the same spigot.
  • There are 2 160Ahr AGM house batteries where the old water tank use to be under the floor.
  • There is also a standard group 31 starting battery for the engine.
  • All three are kept alive but an 85w solar panel and a 400w wind turbine.
  • There is a 3500 w inverter.

Compass, depth and knot meter, EPIRB, stereo with Bose speakers, flushing porta pot with deck pump out.

  • Dock lines, off shore PFDS, seat cushions, fly screens, hammock, safety tethers, fire extinguishers, spotlight, fenders, anchors, wash down pump, spare parts.

A 10500lb rated triaxle trailer with 4 wheel disc brake and 8 (yup 2 new spares too) tires and sun covers for the tires and a 9500lb rated winch to launch and retrieve the whole thing. Instructions are required and available. Anything I may have missed I'm sure you would find somewhere below decks.

I rebuilt her to my own specs for ME. Everything is solidly put together and works well. Some things are less than esthetically pleasing but function trumps form in my twisted mind.

If you would like pictures I will send you a few. Ask me for specific pics of specific items and I'll try to send you something. Thanks for your interest
