This Pearson Vanguard has sailed California West Coast and Mexico. It is now stored on a registered custom trailer. #18,000 GRW in Tucson AZ. The hull is painted with polyurethane and the bottom has been dried out, inspected and received several epoxy barrier coats. The barn door rudder has been replaced with a custom made balanced rudder further aft. This allows the yacht to perform much better downwind and all other points of sailing. A new transmission upgrade has been installed in 2005 at a cost of $2,800.00. This is an excellent, safe and easy handled sailboat. Owned since 1980 by the seller.
