Sabre S28-II sloop, 1979
For sale is our 1979 28' Sabre sailboat "Robin".
We've sailed her in Florida along the Intracoastal waterway and in the Atlantic and now in the Chesapeake.
Well built, stable and easy to handle. Perfect for day sails, weekends and as a well mannered trainer.
In good shape for her age. It will sleep 5 if you don't mind sharing one bathroom.
Roller furling jib.
4 sails in fair condition. New UV cover on working jib (2013)
Air conditioning.
Rewired, new alternator, new batteries and 4 stage charger (2011)
New VHF with remote mic (2011).

Repowered from Atomic 4 to Volvo Penta MD7A sometime in the early 80's.
When we purchased this boat, the hobbs meter had been dead for an unknown time but only showed 916 hours.
I replaced it and ran it up to the 916 hours but I suspect there are a great deal more hours than that. It cranks easily and fires up quickly.
20 Gallon fuel tank, single Racor and single engine filters.
20 Gallon Holding tank, new hoses throughout, new head (2011). "Y" valve for holding/overboard. Deck pump out connection.
25 Gallon fresh water tank; new hoses throughout, electric pump faucet in galley, new whale foot pumps in galley and head.
We are in the process of painting and varnishing the top. .
She is currently in the water and may be seen by appointment in Deale, MD (Shipwright Harbor Marina)
