Stone Horse 23' Cutter, 1972
located in Hampton, VA.
This boat is based on a Sam Crocker design from the 1930's and built by Edey & Duff, one of the finest production fiberglass boat builders.
She was designed for the rough conditions of Buzzards Bay, I've had her out in 50 knots and she handled it like a pro, we didn't even get wet.
With her full keel she practically sails herself.
And she is ALWAYS the prettiest girl at the party.
She has a brand new 6hp Long Shaft Sail Pro outboard with High Thrust Prop. Two sets of sails, the tanbark set is original, the white set has only been used a few seasons and is in excellent condition. The fiberglass is in excellent condition. She is spotless below and has completely dry and clean bilges. She has all of her original bronze hardware, oil lamps and working cast iron wood stove.
Length: 23' 4"
Beam: 7' 1"
Draft: 3' 6"
Sail Area: 339 sq. ft.
Displacement: 4,490lbs
SA/ D: 19.9
D/L: 325
The only work she requires is fresh paint and varnish. I have all the required topside, bottom, and deck paint as well as several different kinds of varnish for the boat.
She is in a slip and ready to go, I sail her as often as possible. The photos on the hard were taken by a previous owner, I took the other three photos last week.
Unfortunately, I don't have nearly enough time to use her, that is my only reason for selling her.
I live 5 hours away and cannot easily get to the boat so only serious inquiries please. I am ready to sell. $7,000
