MacGregor Venture 17, Lake Charles, Louisiana
Includes: Venture 17 with sails, 3.5 hp outboard motor and trailer.
Boat: Standard 1973 Venture 17 with added CDI furler, a small bimini, foredeck hatch with screen and a static ventilator. The boat includes a v-berth, two quarter berths, a smallish cockpit and a weighted centerboard for stability. It includes a bucket potty. There is a battery with 12 volt outlets and a solar charger. The boat is registered in Louisiana.
Sails: Standard main and jib plus a free flying lightweight genoa sized sail. The standard jib is attached to a furler and has weather fabric. The main folds onto the boom and has a cover. The original forestay is included if owner wants to go back to a hanked on jib.
Trailer: The trailer is a standard MacGregor trailer and has a painted finish. The trailer has an expired Texas license plate and paperwork. I could not register the trailer in Louisiana.
Motor: Nissan 3.5 hp, manual start, one cylinder, 2 cycle engine. No shift, rotate motor for reverse. (Other motor options are available.)
