Four inch draft dagger board up and 3' draft dagger board down.
Boat stored outside with UV boat cover that protected deck, topsides and most of hull from 2006 to 2008. Boat stored in interior basement garage totally out of the weather between sails from 2008 to present.
Boat comes with kick-up rudder, tiller extension, paddles, throwable cushion and life jackets.
Main & Jib in old but in good condition with no problems powering the boat.
New sheets, snap shackles, mainsheet boom block and topping lift added in 2006. Running rigging stored inside and is like new condition.
Hull is in fine shape. Bow had a couple of dings repaired very well by a previous owner. There are a few cosmetic gel coat stress cracks and pose no threat to the structural integrity of the vessel. A fine lady this age is bound to have a little soil on her hem.
This racing dingy has a plumb bow with sharp entry. The hull gracefully transitions to a nearly flat stern. A superb design that goes well in a whisper and screams in a brisk breeze.
There are automatic bailers in the bilge. The two draining stern access ports were replaced in 2006.
The custom trailer has large road worthy tires and can follow at 70 mph with absolutely no sway. I moved the boat from Texas to North Carolina in 2008. I also installed "Bearing Buddies" in 2006.
New LED taillights added in 2013. Guide boards added to trailer in 2006 for ease of recovery. Bunk boards and guides recovered in 2013. Custommade stern mast support snuggly cradles the mast and protects the fiberglass during transport.
This Albacore class boat is excellent for learning to sail, messing around the lake by day or replacing the race fittings for some serious competition.
